Contract Award - 23 August, 2010
TWP is pleased to announce the award of a contract by Schneider Electric to assist with the design of the integrated Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the CITIC Pacific Mining Pty Ltd - Sino Iron Project located 25km south of Cape Preston in the Pilbara region North West of Western Australia. The MES solution defined as the Operations Management System (OMS) is for the provision of a suite of software applications to manage production processes and information defined within Phase 1 - Process Data Collection for the Sino Iron Project. TWP's consultant will be engaged to initially work on the first phase of the project the Scoping Study. During phase one, TWP's consultant will be required to focus particularly on OSISoft's PI Historian, including Process Book, and its integration with Ampla, Thermo Fisher's LIMS and Citect SCADA. The scope of work for the second phase, to design, build, test and deliver the MES applications will be determined during the Scoping Study.
